Q. Do you do family group photos?
A. I sure do. I request that these are kept to immediate family only. Up to 5 groups tend to do the trick. Nothing is more tedious for everyone involved than having to pose for dozens of group portraits when you just want to relax and have some fun.
Q. Do you do a bridal party photo session after the ceremony?
A. Yes! Usually only 30 minutes to an hour and very realxed. More like a breather away from the crowd. You get to regroup as a couple and enjoy a quiet moment with each other. I'll take the opportunity to capture some very informal portraits of you and your bridal party. It's a gently guided session so you'll look your best whilst still having fun in the moment.
Q. Do you shoot video?
A. No, I focus on still photos only. I can recommend a videographer if you want one and I don't mind if they work alongside me. We'll try our best not to photobomb each other.
Q. Do we need a second photographer?
A. It depends. I usually work alone and most couples don't feel the need to have 2 photographers at their wedding. I do however have a second photographer available, my daughter Sophie. She's handy to have around for large weddings of over 250 guests. She's very talented and can capture moments happening simultaneously at a different location when I'm busy capturing moments elsewhere. For example, when the bride and groom are getting ready at a significant distance away from each other.
Q. Do you charge for travel & accomodation?
A. Not when you book me for a full day. A travel fee may apply when you select the ceremony only package.
Q. Do we need to feed you at the reception?
A. A meal is greatly appreciated if I'm covering your reception as well. If it's not possible I'll gladly pack some snacks.
Q. Will our photos feature on your website and/or social media?
A. I always respect your privacy, so if you don't want your photos to appear publicly, it won't happen. I also acknowledge the need for the Witness Protection Programme and it has my full co-operation and support.
Q. Our budget is tight and this wedding is getting expensive! Can we pay you in installments?
A. Sure! I'm happy to set up a payment plan that works for you.
Q. How much experience do you have photographing weddings?
A. I've photographed hundreds of weddings over the past 35 years. This ain't my first rodeo. My second photographer has over 3 years experience photographing weddings with me.
